If you're about to order Nexans connectors for a critical job, stop and check the part number one more time. I didn't, and it cost me $3,200.

Six months after the N93 fiasco, a similar order came in. The quote posted this time read "N93-2M". My old self would have skipped the datasheet. Instead, I pulled up the PDF from Nexans AmerCable and found that the -2M version has a shorter sleeve. I changed the line item to N93-2M-X.
